Sup Juggalos,
We all deal with the slings and arrows of today’s living. Surmounting a mountain is possible as long as you have a sure footing. But in today’s world I really have to ask the question “is there still Faith?” Tramatized by what we see in the news everyday. Shocked by the lengths of debauchery and the horrible crimes that people are willing to commit on each other. Life loses its preciousness. Evil people run rampant killing children in the night. What has happened in the world? How long does it take for this disease to infect the Love that is “supposed” to reside in our Family? Or has it already? It is so hard to have a church, cultivate a church in a world that is at war. I have had a hard time trading with my Mission that requires me to wear a uniform and my Mission that requires me to pray. When the church first started our support was endless. The Congregation was packed. The volunteers were plenty and yet when asked to make sacrifices those who eagerly rose their hand quickly hid amongst the masses. Some were unable to help because Life happens and we have to support our families and work jobs. Thus like every garden that has been felled we stand up and rebuild as always. But the words that Christ has to offer provides me with some guidance.
35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
There are so many who are hurt. There are so many who are in pain. We can go from city to city and dig through the pockets of the sorrowful and find that plentiful is the ninja whose heart hurts. Plentiful is the ninja who struggles to pay their bills or simply just live. Plentiful is the ninja who has lost their Faith or is losing their Faith. But the workers are few… The people who care are few… The people who love are few… We distance ourselves and yet who should care. Does it take a priest? Does it take a reverend? No…because any of you can care. Any of you can pick up the axe. Any of you can pick up the hoe. Any of you can tend the flock and harvest the field. We need only to care…only to open our hearts…only to listen and only to love. Which one of you will go into the garden and just listen, just love?
