Sup Juggalos,
We had a great turn out at the FOJ picnic fundraiser at Mount Trashmore. I think I still have hamburgers and hotdogs coming out my butt LOL. A lot of new faces showed up for Service. If you remember last sermon I touched on Jealousy. Rev. Batman, who is Va Beach Chapter's new Chapter Minister (he will be taking over Va Beach FOJ in light of my upcoming deployment and transfer of duty stations) was able to spit some knowledge of what he felt on the subject of Jealousy. I then touched on another topic which strikes deep into our hearts, Bigotry. I'm sure that a lot of you would agree that there is no room for Bigotry in the Juggalo Family.

Let's get into the meat and potatoes, or the hotdogs and hamburgers of Bigotry. Bigotry is text book defined as intolerance toward anyone who is of a different lifestyle or ideals. We can span this out further to say it is also intolerance towards people who are of a different race or perhaps even religion. It's kind of funny really, with all the technological advances and revolutions of thought and supposed free speech that we still are like the cave man ready to club anyone who isn't from our tribe. We live in a world today that it is so much easier to discriminate against someone who is different than it is to accept them. Acceptance doesn't necessarily mean you have to like it. Acceptance is merely saying that okay you're different than me but that's okay I don't have a problem with you. A comedian once said that racism in America makes no sense when there are so many reasons to dislike someone on an individual basis. I guess the key point there is in fact it does make no sense. Racism, why hate someone because of their skin color, you can't change their skin color so it makes no sense. Religious Discrimination, you can't decide for anyone what to think or believe, I don't even try. I figure if you like the sermons you can learn from them, if you don't well that's your choice and I hold nothing against you. Besides who am I, I'm a mortal being, a scrub, a ninja, I've probably done more BS in my lifetime than some of you will even think of doing. Look at me I'm a typical sailor, so you know I ain't right. But I never claimed to be more than a man. I never said my crap don't stink. Can you really change what someone believes, if it makes sense to them and they feel it yes. But if in their heart of hearts they feel they're right, you could put a gun to their head and they'll still say Woop Woop. And there's nothing wrong with that. Fear does not change people, Love does. That's what Bigotry is spawned from Fear. Fear is caused by the lack of Knowledge. People are afraid to leave their little comfort zone and expand their mind. They're afraid that they might actually have to talk to, or work with, or even love (if they're related to them) someone who is different than they are.

Juggalos, we come from all walks of life, ages, sizes, shapes, races, and even creeds. Part of being a Family is Acceptance. There is no room for Bigotry here. There is no room for Intolerance. I say come one come all. We've been waiting for you. We have a unique culture. A culture of Individuals, that don't care about the little things in life that make us different. We fully understand that Bigotry leads to Hate and Hate causes Segregation…Segregation, Rejection and Discrimination are what got us lost in the Darkness of this world to begin with. The world can keep its Hate it can keep its Intolerance for I look for the beauty that lies within the soul and I haven't seen many ugly Juggalos and Juggalettes. When the Wicked One comes to Segregate mankind and puts a gun to my head I will still say Woop Woop even when the hammer cocks back and my head goes BLAOW, I will still represent my Family of Clowns, I will still represent my Savior, I will still represent my Faith, I will still represent the Hatchet, I will still represent FOJ. I will represent all that is the essence of me, what makes me who I am. And who I am is Family. WOOP WOOP
